I don’t see the show he played at Fremont Street Reggae and Blues Club (Las Vegas) with some dudes from Ireland. I was at that show. Must have been 1990s will look it up in my journal.

Saw Warren Z in Boston in 1978, March at The Paradise Club according to one source (though I remember it as a small venue. Playing songs from Excitable Boy. From memory both Waddy Wachtel and WZ were on guitar

Trying to remember a small concert in a State University of New York (SUNY) campus gym in 1979 or 1980. I think it was in SUNY Oneonta but it might have been a different SUNY campus.

In reply to Jim. I was at that show in Gaithersburg. It took place at Old Town Tavern. I recall he was not happy that is was a small venue. But, my memories - I enjoyed the show and it was cool to see him.

In reply to Steve Acker. I was there for 2 shows. 6/17/86 Fast & Cool Club and 3/20/83 when it was still Nick's Uptown. Our table was touching the stage. We had to cover our drinks when he played the harmonica. Both Shows were excellent.

In reply to J. Kramarck. The Spectrum concert, he opened for Stevie Winwood, Warren also played the Academy of Music in Feb of 1983, the concert had been snowed out and was scheduled for later Feb. Opened the show with Frank and Jesse James on grand piano!

He played Columbus, Ohio twice in 1992, both times at the Newport Music Hall. January 18th, 1992 was the tour where he had The Odds opening for him. The ticket stub we have for the July 6th, 1992 says “Solo Recital Recording.” We also have a set list from one of these shows but don’t know which one, sadly.

I saw him three times. The only one that made the list was the show in NY at the Bottom line in 1984. He did a show not long after (1985) at Rutgers in New Brunswick that I attended. I finally saw him at a small venue in 1994 in Gaithersburg, MD ( if I recall it was Brewers Alley at the time). That last was so remarkable as he had aged about 10 years since I last saw him but looked like he was 60 not the 48 or so he would have been. He played solo but had a guy that backed some songs on sax. But what was remarkable was to get a glimpse of his human side. I overheard two of his crew in the men’s room before the show started saying he was upset at the small size (<200) of the venue and was threatening to not come out. He did but the crowd really didn't know his music so of course they were yelling for Werewolves. Which he refused to play but did accede to Roland. He then said he felt strange to have become an oldies guy and hoped that someday Alanis Morissette would have to play the brew pub and people would ask her to play the song where so gives the guy a blow job.
