@robyneparrish I never told you this, but you were the first person to welcome me to Sleep No More and the magic has never worn off. From Si’mone to Hecate to quests in the forest, I’ll always be grateful for our encounters. I’ll never forgot your little dance at Remix, your Nature boy/homesick hug after my mom passed, nor your beauty and elegance as the light shined down upon you. Or your smile when I wore *my* red dress or that we are forever married. Thank you. Thank you for everything. The world is more magical for you being in it. ❤️
What an unforgettable time at the McKittrick trailing after the brilliant and mesmerizing @litt1eowl — experiencing Jordan as boy witch, speakeasy bartender, and taxidermist. Add to that chats at remix, a talk-back Salon and a final walk out, I am filled with a mixture of extreme joy and sadness. Thank you, Jordan, for the magic. ❤️
Above are some of my favorite photos of my mom who passed away yesterday after a long illness at in-home hospice. What I was not expecting in the final six weeks was how happy she would be to see me every time I drove down from NYC to Philly! At the end she passed away in her sleep, which was a kindness. It’s been a long five years of caregiving for my parents - at time exhausting, all consuming and riddled with guilt every time I stepped away for a brief respite. But in the final analysis, I have no regrets. I was there for both of them at the end. And you can’t ask for more than that. I love you, mom. I miss you, too. Say hi to dad for me! 💔
