Presenting Football for Breakfast and a Season of ‘Fourth and Long’

Back in April of 2007, I launched a football website, “Football for Breakfast.” After a little more than a year, it fell victim to my busy schedule and economic reality (i.e. it didn’t make any money), but I did immensely enjoy writing a weekly online pro football column, “Fourth and Long, ” running from September 12, 2007 to February 4, 2008. Granted it’s been five years, but it is a blast to revisit writings from my past and the near mythic season of the 18-1 New England Patriots.
